standards he proclaims to be a Macedonian, while denying the same right to me and a number of other citizens, asks Pavle
Voskopoulos, member of the collective leadership of the ethnic Macedonian party in Greece Vinozito [Rainbow]. He believes
that statements such as that by Dhroutsas, in which the existence of a separate ethnic Macedonian identity is utterly negated,
promote neo-Nazism in Greece.

...said in the Greek Parliament (15/12/09) the Minister of Civil Protection, Mixalis Chrisoxoidis, accusing the citizens of the neighbouring countries a priori as “bad neighbours” and “dangerous”. The minister obviously tries to implement a new policy of demonization and hatred which flagrantly violates the principles of friendship between neighbours, trust and peaceful coexistence, being at the same time completely against all European values.
...«Βρισκόμαστε σε μία εξαιρετικά δύσκολη γειτονιά. Έχουμε κακούς γείτονες - και δεν αναφέρομαι στους Τούρκους απλώς για το θέμα της εθνικής ασφάλειας - οι οποίοι είναι πάρα πολύ επικίνδυνοι σε ότι αφορά την εθνική αλλά και την κοινωνική μας ασφάλεια»
είπε στην Βουλή των Ελλήνων (15/12/09) ο Υπουργός Προστασίας του Πολίτη, Μιχάλης Χρυσοχοϊδης κατηγορώντας τους πολίτες των γειτονικών χωρών ως «κακούς γείτονες» και «επικινδύνους»
Ο υπουργός προφανώς προσπαθεί να εφαρμόσει μια νέα πολιτική δαιμονοποιήσης και μίσους που παραβιάζει κατάφωρα τις αρχές φιλίας μεταξύ των γειτόνων, την εμπιστοσύνη και την ειρηνική συνύπαρξη, που είναι ταυτόχρονα σε πλήρη αντίθεση με όλες τις ευρωπαϊκές αξίες.

AMHRC/MHRMI Condemn European Betrayal of OMO “Ilinden” PIRIN

The Australian Macedonian Human Rights Committee and Macedonian Human Rights Movement International, have
written in protest to the Council of Europe after an appalling decision was taken by the Committee of Ministers (COM - 1/12/09)
in Strasbourg, to end the monitoring of the execution of the 2005 judgement of the European Court of Human Rights involving
Bulgaria and the de-registration of OMO “Ilinden” PIRIN.
