Athanos Nouworski on the bus as it approaches the Greek border on
the 10th of August. As they got closer people became quieter. Everybody
in the bus was refused entry that day. Athanos fled when he was only
6 years old, his father was in the Democratic Army and his mother made
                the
                decision
to flee because she was scared she would be put in jail. On 10th
of August a group of refugees living in Bitola, Macedonia’s second
biggest town, attempted to cross the border. However all of them were
turned back, mostly because they had the old Macedonian names in the
                passport. |
